Sonnenberg Landscaping, in addition to our material & supply stores, also offers a wide variety of landscape design & installation services as well. The landscaping division has been in operation since 1991 and was voted the #1 landscaping company in the Metro-East by the largest newspaper publication in the area. We take great pride in our company’s reputation and success. As the landscape service division grows, we are determined to increase productivity while maintaining our distinguished reputation for attention to detail & customer satisfaction. We commit to stand behind our craftsmanship 100%, and all plant material installed is guaranteed for one full year.

Our landscaping division excels in several areas of the landscape industry. We design and install retaining wall systems of all sizes, paver & flagstone patios & walkway systems, landscape plantings & bed preparation, water features, and offer mulching bed clean up services. As a service-related contractor, we distinguish ourselves from our competitors by offering a storefront business with an open-door policy at your convenience. Our designer and office staff are there to field your calls during the season’s normal working hours six days-a-week Monday through Saturday. During operating hours, your calls will be received and returned by live human beings, not voice-mail.

We strongly believe that our design & project management team is second to none. The division boasts an experienced landscape designer with a bachelor degree in landscape horticulture with a specialization in design and plant science. He has over 13 years of experienced in various design concepts styles in commercial and residential design. He also has extensive background and experience with the hands-on construction & installation aspects as well. He provides each client with a personal on-site consultation to listen to the client’s wants and needs to arrive at a functional and esthetically pleasing finished product both parties will be proud of. Detailed measurements will be taken on site to provide the client with a unique “scaled” CAD based architectural landscape plan. Upon the completion of the design, a follow-up consultation is offered to go over the design and proposal to insure the homeowner’s complete understanding of the entire plan, installation process & pricing. The designer & project manager for each project visits the site daily to insure quality control & productivity. 

Each crew will consist of an experienced foreman accompanied by two to three well-trained crewmembers. All of our installation personnel attend annual training seminars and receive ongoing education throughout the duration of their employment. The crews will all arrive in clean, lettered, modern company fleet trucks and will be dressed in company-issued uniforms.
